Peru

Steeped in rich traditions and natural beauty Peru is amazing. From beautiful coastal beaches to Machu Pichu this country has a bit of everything. The Peruvian people have held tight to their native culture and are a proud people. They love sharing their country with visitors. Take time to visit some of the smaller villages in your journey. You will have opportunities to learn how they live, work, and celebrate life everyday. Of course do not miss out on the opportunity to visit Machu Pichu. While there take a cooking class. The food is so good.

bolivia

The beauty in Bolivia is stellar. The people are so friendly. While not on most people’s must visit list don’t let that you cause you to skip this experience. It holds six world heritage UNESCO sites, the most well known the Jesuit Missions of Chiquitos. They are home to the highest ski slopes in the world and to the largest salt flats. The food is a foodies dream.

You should plan one full day after arrival to just rest and acclimate to the altitude. Being one of the highest altitude countries you certainly want to acclimate and not risk getting altitude sickness.

Paraguay

This is the country that feels like time has passed it by. Once you leave Asuncion it is as if you have turned back time. The villages are small, quaint, picturesque. The people are friendly and very helpful. Make sure to visit the national parks, Salto de Monday and YBYCUI are gorgeous. The hike to see them is well worth the effort. Don’t miss seeing Iguazu Falls from the Paraguayan side. You will want to try the food especially the Chipa bread. This is the land of harps and guitars and if the opportunity presents you must attend a concert.
